Here is my latest project for uni. We were asked to make either a graphic novel or a children's book about the London riots that happened this August.
It's a short story about a little boy called Leo, who's dog goes missing.
The actual book will be pop-up, but this is just a proffessional-looking version to hand in to accompany the not-so-proffessional-looking one that I am going to bind in the next couple of weeks.
In addition to uni stuff, people have ordered pet portraits for Christmas so i'm aiming to get them all finished and posted off this weekend too. Yeee!
Katie this is an amazing idea! I can't wait to look at it (it's taking a while to load! I'd love to show it to some of my kids at school- what age range is it suitable for? (Hopefully I'll see that when it loads!) I love the header you did for Laura at Daisychain dream also!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Hi Kezzie! Sorry for such a late reply - I only spotted this comment now! Did you get the book to load? I was aiming to make the book for 7-10 year olds but my tutor has advised that it's probably only suitable for older kids because of the depressing dark colours, haha. I might make a happier-colours version in the future. Thanks for reading!!
